PT.Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) more seriously to accomplish its mission in an effort to encourage economic growth in the region and to help develop micro, small and medium enterprises. Along with the commitment to the mandate entrusted by the Governor of East Java in order to contribute to regional development and public welfare, then bankjatim continue to perform various steps to be able to make it happen.

One of them also invited bankjatim with East Java Governor held meetings with various parties such as the Damandiri Foundation, Association of Rector in East Java, and East Java SMEs Bank in Head Office of bankjatim, Bromo Ballroom, Jl Basuki Rahmat 98-104, Surabaya

The working meeting is a follow up of the signing of the MoU between bankjatim, Damandiri Foundation, and Bank of East Java SMEs regarding lending has been done some time ago.

Director bankjatim R Soeroso said working meetings with various parties this is a real step of the ideals of all parties concerned to achieve economic improvement toward the better.

"This meeting is a follow-up of a common vision and mission, we are united in the form of a long cooperation relationship has not been established, the meeting is expected with future synergy can work well establish among the various parties that aim to empower small communities can be achieved with good, “explains Soeroso.

In the working meeting clearly described the function and role of each relevant agencies in the stretcher cooperation program that is empowering families through entrepreneurial development and improvement of productive economic activities in POSDAYA (Family) Empowerment Post) East Java.

As known Damandiri Foundation with its programs continue to focus on realizing the goals and objectives in the field of social and humanitarian with an active role in empowering families and communities left behind.

In cooperation with various partners such as College / Universities, Financial Institutions Banks and Non-Bank, Community Organizations, and the ranks of Local Government (Provincial and District / Municipal), the Foundation Damandiri trying to empower families / communities across remote areas in Indonesia through POSDAYA.

As for the implementation, family empowerment through Posdaya personnel deployed in East Java academics from various universities that are members of the Association of Universities in East Java, as well as no less than 103 other universities including the College of Islamic Religion in East Java by conducting fieldwork program real (KKN) thematic POSDAYA. The program has succeeded in forming 12 939 POSDAYA throughout the villages and the villages and mosques across East Java.

Of the working meeting between bankjatim, Damandiri Foundation, Association of Rector in East Java, and East Java SMEs Bank is expected later to maximize the potential of existing POSDAYA is to be fostered and empowered further into the new level of rural entrepreneurs who are able to grow into the motor of the economy area through productive loans of bankjatim or bank MSME East Java.

For bankjatim itself in order to increase lending productive sectors, especially small and micro, bankjatim will expand access to finance for entrepreneurs who have not bankable so it is no longer constrained in applying for loans to banks.
