SURABAYA 19 DECEMBER 2023. An atmosphere of sorrow enveloped PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim). Right on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 09.08 Singapore time, bankjatim President Commissioner Suprajarto bin KRTH. Poerwaningrat breathed his last. The entire board of commissioners, directors, and all bankjatim employees expressed their condolences on the passing of Suprajarto.

We pray that the deceased is given the best place in the side of Allah SWT. and the family is given fortitude and strength. We express our deepest gratitude for the dedication of the late Mr. Supra to the development of bankjatim's business. Please forgive all the mistakes of the deceased," said bankjatim President Director Busrul Iman.
The plan is for the late Suprajarto to be flown directly from Singapore to a funeral home in Yogyakarta, Central Java. Precisely at Jalan Supadi No 1, Kota Baru, Yogyakarta. The funeral itself is scheduled for Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 09.00 WIB at Imogiri Cemetery, Yogyakarta.
As for the late Suprajarto, he was appointed as President Commissioner of bankjatim since 2022 in the 2021 Financial Year GMS. During his lifetime, the deceased was a firm figure and had been poor across the banking world with a brilliant career. The man who was born in Yogyakarta on August 28, 1956 was also supported by a qualified educational background. In 1982 he completed his undergraduate education in Economics at the National Development University "Veteran", Yogyakarta. He then continued his master's degree in Marketing Management at Padjadjaran University, Bandung (completed 2001) before later completing his doctoral education in Business Management also at Padjadjaran University, Bandung (completed 2014).
