Through cooperation in the plantation sector, continued Arief, bankjatim provides capital support for the People's Sugar Cane Farmers Cooperative and its members in the hope that this additional working capital can increase yields, both in terms of quantity and quality of sugar cane.
As for the mechanism of cooperation this time is bankjatim as a lender to PKPTR and / or small cane farmers fostered by PT Rajawali I Sugar Factory in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable in bankjatim. "So, PT Rajawali I Sugar Factory provides recommendations in writing to us who are the people's sugarcane farmers under their guidance who are eligible to get bankjatim credit facilities. Actually, the purpose of this agreement is to provide credit product facilities in the context of sugarcane cultivation to farmers to increase MSMEs in the sugarcane plantation sector. Because, bankjatim fully supports the growth of MSMEs, especially in East Java," said Arief.
He explained, the value of productive credit for MSMEs managed by bankjatim until now is not small. "Up to this month we have managed MSME loans of around Rp 13 trillion. This proves that we really support the development of MSMEs," he said.
Therefore, he hopes that the signing of this cooperation agreement will not only be an administrative legality. But more than that, this good moment can be a space for friendship, a place to provide ideas, innovations, and evaluations for all parties for the realization of safe and comfortable services, especially for sugar cane farmers at the rajawali I sugar factory. "So that farmers can further maximize the potential that exists and can be more prosperous of course," said Arief.
