Supporting Easier Tuition Payment, Bank Jatim Cooperate with Trunojoyo University Madura

SURABAYA - March 8, 2023. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk or bankjatim again proved its support for the world of education. This time, the issuer with the BJTM code has made a cooperation agreement with Trunojoyo Madura University in the context of paying tuition fees through a non-host to host virtual account facility.

Located in the Rectorate Building of Trunojoyo Madura University, the signing of this cooperation was carried out by the Head of Bankjatim Bangkalan Branch Tjitjuk Soesilo Pribadi and Rector of Trunojoyo Madura University Dr. Safi', S.h., M.H. which was witnessed directly by the Director of Risk Management of Bank Jatim Eko Susetyono.

Eko said, the purpose of this cooperation agreement is to meet the needs of Trunojoyo Madura University students in terms of UKT fee payments, new student registration, and development funds. "So now if you want to make payments at Trunojoyo Madura University, you can use a bankjatim virtual account and can be done through e-channels such as tellers, ATMs, other bank transfer facilities, and other channels owned by bankjatim," he explained (8/3).

Because, it is undeniable that currently the ease of access to educational services for the community has become a thing that must be fulfilled by a higher education institution. No exception in terms of payment of tuition fees.

"With the virtual account facility at Trunojoyo Madura University, tuition payments can be made at any time and the payment is also realtime," added Eko. That is, when the transfer process is successful, it will automatically be recorded in the campus academic information system.

At the end of December 2022, Trunojoyo Madura University will have a virtual account to pay tuition fees.

As of December 2022, bankjatim already has a total office network of 1,784 operational services and 2,912 smart selling agents, both conventional and sharia services, 841 ATMs, and bankjatim also has Jconnect mobile banking which can be the right solution for faster tuition payments.

Bankjatim hopes that this cooperation can have a positive impact on both institutions and can further facilitate student tuition payment services. "We hope this cooperation is not only looking for profits, but also can spread the benefits," said Eko.

Rector of Trunojoyo University Madura Dr. Safi', S.H., M.H. highly welcomed the cooperation with bankjatim.
