JAKARTA, April 14, 2025. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) carried out the signing of the renewal of the cooperation agreement with PT BRI Asuransi Indonesia (BRINS) on Monday (14/4). Located at the Bank Jatim Jakarta Branch Office, the signing was performed by Bank Jatim Risk Management Director Eko Susetyono and BRINS Operational Director Sony Harsono W.S.
Eko explained that this Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with BRINS is a renewal, as the PKS had previously been conducted since April 25, 2022, and ended on April 4, 2025. This renewal was done not only for the extension of the term but also in the framework of implementing POJK No. 8 of 2024 and SEOJK No. 31 of 2022. ”The bank products included in the scope of cooperation are sharia financing products that require insurable collateral to be insured. This Cooperation Agreement is conducted per insurance product, so on this occasion, there are five things agreed upon,” he explained.
Those five things are in the form of bancassurance consisting of:

Bancassurance marketing for sharia fire insurance products with a reference business model in the framework of bank products.

Bancassurance marketing for sharia motor vehicle insurance products with a reference business model in the framework of bank products.

Bancassurance marketing for heavy equipment insurance products with a reference business model in the framework of bank products.

Bancassurance marketing for contractor’s all risk insurance products with a reference business model in the framework of bank products.

Bancassurance marketing for contractors plant and machinery insurance products with a reference business model in the framework of bank products.
Eko emphasized that, as is generally known, Bank Jatim now also has a sharia financing business line. Therefore, as a form of the company's love for its customers, protection in the form of financing insurance is very much needed. ”Therefore, we very much welcome this cooperation. Because, in principle, Bank Jatim has a great desire to increase the quality of our service to customers, especially in terms of financing insurance,” he explained.
