PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) does not have to wait long for the achievements recorded in 2017. The reason, 2 months were passed in 2017, bankjatim has received an award of CSR Award 2017, which was organized by the magazine Economic Review.
Located at Balai Kartini, Kuningan South Jakarta (25/02), not half-hearted, bankjatim was awarded Platinum with predicated excellent in the category of Listed Company. Appreciation of this highest award was given to the best company in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Appear in person in the event, the expert staff of Ministry of Social Affairs, representing the Minister of Social Khofifah Indar Parawangsa, which was unable to attend. In her speech, social ministry hoped that through this award the companies would continue to be encouraged to improve performance and its critical role in the implementation of CSR, at least in an environment where the companies were located.
The award received by the CEO bankjatim from the expert staff of Ministry of Social Affairs was the first award achieved by bankjatim in 2017, by the judging of Data Analysis, Annual Report, Website, Company Profile and Public Data, bankjatim was appointed as a public company, which entitled to receive CSR Award 2017.
In an interview, R Soeroso expressed his gratitude to Allah SWT for this award. He did not forget to deliver his gratitude to all employees of bankjatim for their hard work, especially CSR team of bankjatim. "This award is a motivation bankjatim particularly in improving the quality of CSR in the future" said R. Soeroso.
During 2016, CSR bankjatim distributed Rp. 14.2 M and in 2017, bankjatim remains committed to channel its social responsibility for four (4) fields, including: Education, Health, Social and Cultural Rights.
