Arts and culture is a legacy from our ancestors long ago that must always be conserved, in order to maintain our identity as a nation that has a high historical value. Bank Jatim CSR activities are not just limited to the social, educational, environmental and health only. This time the CSR Bank Jatim in the Field of Culture participated in the art activities Grebeg Suro Celebration and Festival XIX National Reyog Year 2012 held on 23 October to 16 December 2012. The annual event held Ponorogo regency government aims to maintain, preserve, and promote traditional arts as cultural treasures Ponorogo District region to support the national culture, and as a concrete step in the success of Visit Year Holidays in East Java Year 2012 have been planned by the Governor of East Java. To encourage event promoted by the Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports Ponorogo District, Jatim Bank provide financial assistance amounting to Rp. 50.000.000, - submitted by Branch Manager Bank Jatim Riyanto to the Regional Secretary of Regent Ponorogo Agus Pramono. With the good cooperation that exists so far hopefully can tighten the relationship between the Bank Jatim and the Government Ponorogo District, and can develop Ponorogo District Tourism potential to become a tourist destination especially cultural tourism attraction.
