MADIUN, December 28, 2023. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) has officially handed over Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance to two regions at once, namely Madiun City Government and Nganjuk Regency Government, on Thursday (28/12). Assistance provided to Madiun in the form of one unit of operational car. While the assistance provided to Nganjuk is one unit of GP Ansor ambulance car and 50 units of cone tents.

For CSR in Madiun, assistance was handed over by AVP Corporate Communications bankjatim Bambang Supriadi to Madiun Mayor Maidi. Then in Nganjuk, CSR was handed over by bankjatim Compliance Director Tonny Prasetyo to Pj. Nganjuk Regent Sri Handoko Taruna.

President Director of bankjatim Busrul Iman explained, the purpose of giving operational cars to Madiun City Government is to support social activities in Madiun City. "Hopefully bankjatim can continue to be a partner of the Madiun City Government that plays an active role and is able to provide the best service for the people of East Java, especially in the Madiun area. And we also hope that bankjatim Madiun Branch can continue to work together in supporting programs run by the City Government as stakeholders and the community to increase economic growth and develop regional potential," he said.

Next, related to CSR assistance in Nganjuk, bankjatim Compliance Director Tonny Prasetyo said, the ambulance for the Nganjuk Regency Government will be used to improve community services and members of GP Ansor Banser in Nganjuk Regency. According to him, the ambulance assistance is a form of bankjatim's responsibility to the community in the health sector. So, people in need can immediately get service quickly and bankjatim can contribute to participate in improving, facilitating, and facilitating good and quality service activities for the people of Nganjuk Regency.

On Wednesday (27/12), bankjatim has also handed over CSR to the East Java Provincial Library and Archives Office in the form of facilities and infrastructure for vulnerable groups. The handover was carried out symbolically by bankjatim Corporate Secretary Wioga Adhiarma Aji to the Head of the East Java Provincial Library and Archives Office Tiat S. Suwardi. Facilities and infrastructure provided include wheelchairs, crutches, information boards, directions, smart tvs, disability sticks, and many more.

The assistance is an effort to realize inclusive public services and also as a form of concern to guarantee and protect the rights of vulnerable groups in obtaining fair and equal services.
