Encouraging Young Hajj Movement through Bani Fest 2023

SURABAYA, September 7, 2023. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk or bankjatim continues to strengthen the foundation of Sharia Business Unit (UUS) business growth in various ways. One of them is by holding the Barokah Madani Festival (Bani Fest) 2023. Located at UINSA Surabaya Campus, the event was attended by bankjatim Director of Finance, Treasury and Global Services Edi Masrianto on Thursday (7/9).
A variety of activities were carried out in the series of Bani Fest 2023. In addition to the Tahfidzul Qur'an competition, there was also the launching of the young Hajj Movement and a talk show that discussed the planning of the young Hajj with speakers who are experts in their fields. Edi explained that the organization of Bani Fest 2023 is an effort to improve cooperation with various parties. Starting from the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH), UINSA Surabaya, to the Ministry of Religious Affairs of East Java. And most importantly to improve bankjatim's corporate image. "We want through Bani Fest 2023 can improve branding UUS Bank Jatim and this event can also be used as a means for friendship as well as the delivery of UUS Bank Jatim program," he said.
According to Edi, the Young Hajj Movement launched in Bani Fest 2023 is a strategic role of UUS Bank Jatim to help millennials plan for the Hajj by saving and investing early. This is because the Hajj is a pilgrimage that requires strong and prime physical abilities. Therefore, the young Hajj movement is carried out to suppress old age pilgrims in the future. "Through this young Hajj movement, people can also have a mature financial planning. Anyone can dream of anything, including dreaming of pilgrimage at a young age. So do not be afraid because Bank Jatim will always support, "said Edi.
He added, UUS Bank Jatim has a network of branch offices spread across various regions in East Java and has digitized services, "this is a form of our commitment to help the community by offering various facilities to realize the holy intention of performing the pilgrimage," said Edi.
As for making it easier for millennials to prepare for the Hajj, UUS Bank Jatim has Tabungan Haji iB Amanah products that can be utilized by young people. Tabungan Haji iB Amanah is a deposit in IDR currency that is managed based on sharia principles and used as a means to obtain certainty portion of the Hajj (regular) with free or monthly deposit system.
