SURABAYA, September 26, 2025. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) successfully won a prestigious award from Humas Indonesia. The award Bank Jatim managed to obtain was as the Most Popular Public Institution on Social Media in the BUMD sub-category. Located at the JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya, the award was received by Bank Jatim's Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communications, Mi’roj Subhanto, on Thursday (26/9).
Bank Jatim President Director Winardi Legowo stated that all these awards signify the results of the Company's hard work, especially in building the company's reputation as a bank with comprehensive products and services supported by reliable digital solutions. “This award will certainly further motivate Bank Jatim to continue innovating, as well as providing positive information regarding the company's products and services to the wider community. With increasingly strong public trust, the company's reputation will become more solid and business performance continues to move positively,” he said.
Winardi admitted that Bank Jatim's image continues to improve as it consistently contributes as a driver of economic growth. Additionally, Bank Jatim, as the primary partner of the government, also focuses on supporting financial management while providing the best service to customers. This is evidenced by Bank Jatim's total consolidated assets in the first six months of this year, which successfully reached IDR 118.15 trillion, an increase of 16.71 percent (YoY). Looking at the net profit of Bank Jatim (bank only) throughout the first semester, it stood at IDR 703 billion, growing 13.26 percent (YoY). Furthermore, during the first semester of this year, Bank Jatim's credit distribution also managed to record a significant increase of 15.91 percent (YoY).
“The positive performance recorded by Bank Jatim also confirms the company's increasingly brilliant image, in line with efforts to build a good public perception. Moving forward, Bank Jatim hopes to continue providing real contributions and optimal benefits both regionally and nationally,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Asmono Wikan, Founder & CEO of Humas Indonesia, explained that accountability and transparency are no longer just regulatory demands, but the main foundation for building public trust.
