Caring for Taxes, Bank Jatim Receives Award from East Java Bapenda

SURABAYA, November 24, 2023 - PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) successfully received an award from the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of East Java Province to coincide with Bapenda's 61st birthday. Located at the Bapenda Building of East Java Province, the award was handed over directly by East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa to bankjatim President Director Busrul Iman on Friday (24/11).
As for the award received by bankjatim is the Working Partner category because bankjatim is considered to be quite concerned and compliant with taxes so that it gets full trust from the government. Issuers with the code BJTM is also considered consistent in synergizing with the government related to the contribution and collection of local taxes.
Busrul explained, bankjatim is always committed to supporting local governments to increase local revenue by opening the widest possible tax payment options for taxpayers, both through bankjatim e-channels and jatim agents. "bankjatim as a strategic partner of the local government is always ready to support the government in increasing revenue from the tax sector through innovation, digitalization and collaboration," Busrul said.
According to him, the meaning of Working Partner is trust or trust so it must be maintained properly. If it has been trusted, it means it must be better. "We are ready to always collaborate and synergize in order to make a positive contribution to the economy of East Java," Busrul said.
Meanwhile, Khofifah Indar Parawansa hoped that the appreciation received by the awardees could spur all parties to further increase their concern for taxes. "We all have to obey taxes. Because the tax proceeds will also return to us again for the common good. So that East Java can be more advanced and developed," she added.
