Bank Jatim distributes CSR assistance to two regencies at once

BANGKALAN, February 22, 2024 - PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) continues to support various local government programs for mutual progress. This was realized by providing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance to the Bangkalan Regency Government in the form of 1 unit of Mobile Land and Building Tax Urban Rural (PBB P2). Located at the Bangkalan Regency Regent's Office, the handover was carried out symbolically by bankjatim Risk Management Director Eko Susetyono to Pj. Regent of Bangkalan Arief M Edie on Thursday (22/2).
Eko explained, the provision of mobile car CSR aims to improve services to the community, especially to taxpayers. Both those in rural and urban areas of Bangkalan Regency. "With this car, we hope to reach taxpayers who are in urban and rural areas so that it will make it easier for taxpayers to pay taxes before they are due," he said.
Eko continued, tax is one of the main sources of regional revenue. So, with the mobile PBB P2 car, it is also expected to be able to increase local revenue from the tax sector. In addition to the mobile car, people can also take advantage of online tax payments that can be made through ATMs or JConnect mobile bankjatim.
On the occasion, Pj. Regent Arief M Edi greatly appreciated and expressed his deepest gratitude to bankjatim for the CSR assistance that had been provided. Because, with this mobile car, the community as taxpayers can more easily make tax payments. "Service through mobile cars is considered quite effective and helps taxpayers who pay PBB," he added.
Meanwhile, on Friday (24/2), bankjatim again distributed CSR assistance to Pasuruan Regency Government. CSR provided in the form of rehabilitation of R Soedarsono Pogar Stadium. Located in Pendopo Nyawijit Ngesthi Wenganing Gusthi, the assistance was given symbolically by AVP Corporate Communications bankjatim Bambang Supriadi to Pj. Pasuruan Regent Andriyanto.
