Bank Jatim handed over CSR ambulance car to RSUD Dr. Soetomo

SURABAYA, NOVEMBER 3, 2023. In order to accelerate health services, PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) provided Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance to RSUD Dr. Soetomo in the form of one unit of hearse ambulance. Located in the parking lot of RSUD Dr. Soetomo, the CSR handover was carried out symbolically by bankjatim Compliance Director Tonny Prasetyo to the Director of RSUD Dr. Soetomo Dr. Joni Wahyuhadi and witnessed directly by East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa on Friday (3/11). The activity was carried out in the context of the 78th Anniversary of East Java Province and the 85th Anniversary of Dr. Soetomo Hospital in 2023.
Tonny explained that the handover of the ambulance is proof of the synergy between bankjatim and the East Java Provincial Government through RSUD Dr. Soetomo in terms of improving health services. "Hopefully this CSR assistance can be a facility that is ready to serve the needs of Dr. Soetomo Hospital and the community so that it can be used for maximum body transportation services," he explained.
According to Tonny, the cadaver ambulance assistance is a form of bankjatim's responsibility to the community in the health sector. So that people in need can immediately get service quickly. "Therefore, we hope that the ambulance can expand the reach of the community. This CSR handover action is also a form of bankjatim's commitment to participate in sustainable economic development, both for agencies, communities and the surrounding community," continued Tonny.
Meanwhile, Director of RSUD Dr. Soetomo. expressed his deepest gratitude to bankjatim for the cooperation that has been established so far. He hopes that in the future cooperation with bankjatim can continue. "We also really appreciate bankjatim for paying attention to the world of health. We will utilize this assistance as well as possible to support and serve the community, "he said.
