PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk or bankjatim increasingly expressed its commitment to develop syariah financial system. This embodied by signing a memorandum of understanding with relation to the delivery of insurance services ( Kafalah ) over fulfillment of an obligation financially by guarantee syariah insurer Jamkrindo as ( Kafiil ) to bankjatim as the insured ( Makfuul Lahu ) implemented in central office bankjatim (20/10).
Kafalah should be done to protect bank to provide funding to customers. Financing insurance include Kafalah bank guarantees, Kafalah financing construction and procurement, Kafalah financing versatile / consumption, Kafalah financing possession of gold, Kafalah mortgage loans, Kafalah public financing and Kafalah umroh financing.
The signing of the MoU was conducted by director of bankjatim R .Soeroso with director of agribusiness & syariah business bankjatim Tony Sudjiaryanto with the President Director of PT Penjaminan Jamkrindo Syariah Wisnuwarman with Director Business PT Penjaminan Jamkrindo Syariah Gatot Suprabowo.
This memorandum of understanding is a manuscript parent of agreement that will be set further in the form of cooperation between separate are more technical in accordance with the agreement and the inhabitants of the each -masing parties and to according to the rules and regulations .
President Director bankjatim R .Soeroso said that cooperation with Kafalah can bring many benefits for bankjatim.
