Synergy with Trenggalek Regency Government, Bank Jatim Hand over CSR Ambulance and Launching KKPD

TRENGGALEK, November 24, 2023 - PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) again showed its concern for the world of health. On Friday (24/11), bankjatim has officially handed over Corporate Social Rensponsibility (CSR) assistance to the Trenggalek Regency Government through the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in the form of one unit of hearse ambulance. Located at Pasar Pon Trenggalek, the handover was carried out symbolically by SEVP Sharia Business bankjatim Umi Rodiyah to the Chairman of PMI Trenggalek Mulyadi and witnessed by Trenggalek Regent Mochamad Nur Arifin.

Bankjatim President Director Busrul Iman explained, this ambulance will be used for PMI operations so that it can be utilized by people in need for free. In addition, it also aims to provide emergency services for emergency patients and funeral transportation services for local residents. "So that we can contribute to participate in improving, facilitating, and facilitating good and quality service activities for the people of Trenggalek Regency," he explained.

Busrul continued, the delivery of one unit of ambulance car is an environmental social responsibility through bankjatim care program. He hopes that the cooperation that has been established with the Trenggalek Regency Government can be even better and able to make a positive contribution to the country. "This CSR handover is a form of real appreciation from bankjatim to the local government that has given full trust to us as a strategic partner of the government in financial management and regional economy. Hopefully this assistance from bankjatim will be useful for everyone, "he said.

In addition to the submission of CSR, on this occasion, bankjatim together with Bank Indonesia (Kediri) and the Trenggalek Regency Government also launched the Regional Government Credit Card (KKPD) and e-retribution of mass credit contracts. "The launch of the Trenggalek Regency KKPD is in order to meet the needs of the Regional Work Unit (SKPD) for payment instruments based on applicable laws and regulations," he said.

Based on this, bankjatim hopes that the use of KKPD in Trenggalek Regency can provide many benefits. Such as increasing security, reducing the potential for fraud, and minimizing the use of cash.

Meanwhile, Mochamad Nur Arifin expressed his deepest gratitude to bankjatim for the assistance and cooperation that has been established so far. According to him, the provision of cadaver ambulance assistance is in line with the existence of PMI Trenggalek which must provide more benefits to the community. "We really appreciate bankjatim for paying attention to the world of health. We will utilize this assistance as well as possible to support and serve the community," he said.

In addition, related to the launching of the KKPD, Nur Arifin also said that the KKPD can support economic equality for MSME players. "KKPD will be very helpful for MSMEs with limited capital. Because usually there is a time between the execution of the activity and the payment. So if we order to MSMEs, usually MSMEs pay first and finally only MSMEs that have capital are ordered. Not all MSMEs can fulfill," he continued.

Well, with the KKPD, his party hopes that MSMEs that have mediocre capital will no longer object when ordered by the government. "If you use KKPD, you don't have to wait for budget disbursement to pay MSMEs. But it can be directly paid using KKPD through bankjatim. So that economic equality can be realized, "he concluded.
