Concern for Cancer, Bank Jatim is Taking Part in Commemorating the World’s Cancer Day

In commemoration of World Cancer Day which falls annually on February 4, which is celebrated today. Located at Regional General Hospital (Hospital) Dr. Soetomo, PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) participates to commemorate The World’s Cancer Day.
Hospital Director of Dr. Soetomo, Harsono was grateful for the attendance of Secretary of East Java Province Ahmad Sukardi, who have been along with the East Java governor giving support to the Hospital of Dr. Soetomo. He also gave the gratitude to the Director bankjatim, R. Soeroso in regards with bankjatim’s support in the service of the payment of hospital patients.
In the middle of his speech, Ahmad Sukardi said that the commemoration of The World's Cancer Day has become the right momentum for Hospital of Dr. Soetomo to continue in improving services to patients and people.
A series of commemoration of the World Cancer was commenced with a healthy body pump followed by thousands of participants both from employees of Hospital Dr. Soetomo and bankjatim also the general publics who were around the hospital. The excitement continued with the release of balloons as a commemoration symbolic of World’s Cancer Day and tree planting jointly conducted by the Secretary of East Java Province, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Airlangga, as well as the Board of Directors of bankjatim. And a review of the patient and inpatient specialized cancer patients in The Hospitals of Dr. Soetomo.
